The Ask
Holland America Line came to Faculty to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Half Moon Cay, their private island in the Bahamas. The goal was to capture the island's full range of offerings in a VR experience designed to transport prospective guests — placing them on the island before they ever booked a trip.
Faculty deployed three simultaneous filming teams across the remote island, covering principal photography, drone, and 360 capture. Shooting across all formats at once ensured the full breadth of the island's activities could be documented in a single production without losing the spontaneity of the environment.

Faculty delivered one long-form 360 video capturing the complete Half Moon Cay experience, alongside supplementary short-form 360 content. The work was built for VR headset deployment, designed to put future guests inside the experience and let the island sell itself.
