THE ASK
AT&T looked to create a fully immersive destination at the NCAA Final Four that would promote their recent purchase of HBO.
Faculty created two fully immersive activations at the NCAA Final Four that promoted AT&T’s recent purchase of HBO.
The spaces were designed to engage attendees and create memorable experiences that highlighted AT&T's commitment to entertainment and innovation, while promoting their recent acquisition of Time Warner.
THE APPROACH
The first activation featured a 360-degree dj/vj inspired booth with multi-sensory basketball
objects that acted as triggers for musical beats and animated projections.
The second activation was a Games of Thrones inspired game of P-I-G. Interactive flooring
mapped with Westeros and immersive animations triggered on made or missed baskets.
THE RESULT
Both activations drew lines. At an event built around competition and spectacle, people chose to wait for the chance to step inside what Faculty built. The spaces didn't just promote AT&T's acquisition of HBO — they made people feel it.
