THE ASK
Simplot, working through Publicis, needed a brand experience center that could tell the story of J.R. Simplot — the company's history, its people, its relationship to the land, and its commitment to feeding a growing world. Faculty was brought in to develop the narrative strategy and media elements across the space, with the physical build largely already planned. Through the process, Faculty's creative approach helped shape and inform the final direction of the environment.
Faculty developed the story architecture and media content across four zones, each telling a different chapter of the Simplot story. The People Zone assembled a living portrait of the company's workforce through a collage of images and screens, animated through a series of interchangeable motion pieces. The Land Zone paired real soil with an LED-wrapped column, merging the physical and digital into a single storytelling element. The Food Zone featured an interactive table where dinner plates were screens, with RFID-embedded objects triggering different stories on contact. The Inspiration Zone closed the experience with a real-time global population counter, grounding Simplot's agricultural mission in the scale of the problem it exists to solve.
THE APPROACH
THE RESULT
A brand experience center that turned a company's history into something visitors could touch, trigger, and explore. The team at Simplot walked away happy — which, for a project this size and scope, is exactly the result that matters.
